Alone #2: Away from Life Back Cover Reveal

Okay sooo...
I can FINALLY share something from Alone #2: Away from Life. And before anyone asks—no, I did not survive writing this book without emotionally attacking my own characters. That was impossible.

This is the official back cover reveal, and I'm actually really excited because covers are one of my favourite parts of making a book. They're the first thing people see before opening the story, and I wanted this one to capture the feeling of the book.

I wanted it to feel dark, lonely, mysterious, and slightly unsettling—like that feeling when you're walking somewhere and suddenly think somebody is behind you...
...but when you turn around, nobody's there.

Totally normal. Not creepy at all. One of my favourite lines on the back cover is: ''Some scars don't fade. They remind you who you are." That line pretty much sums up the story.

Away from Life goes deeper into fear, memories, secrets, and things that don't always stay buried. The characters are dealing with things they can't simply run away from, and let's just say life isn't exactly becoming easier for them.

Actually... It's becoming worse - much worse. Without spoiling anything, there are twists in this book that I've wanted to write for a very long time. There were genuinely moments where I stared at my screen thinking:

"Abeeha... what have you done?"

But I kept writing anyway. The back cover itself gives a feeling of isolation and stepping into something unknown. It feels like the story is pulling you forward while quietly warning you that whatever waits ahead probably isn't going to be friendly. Which is exactly the vibe I wanted.

And yes, bad things happen - a lot of bad things. In my defence, I only seemed to write this book whenever I was extremely annoyed or angry at someone. Unfortunately for my characters, they suffered the consequences.

So here's your exclusive first look at the back cover for Alone #2: Away from Life.
Now I need theories.

What do you think is happening?  (Answer: Lots and lots of suffering.)

What details did you notice first?  (Answer: The girl looks like she's two seconds away from crying.)

And more importantly... Should my characters be worried? (Answer: Yes)
